Erin Snyder

Erin founded EM Key Solutions (EMKS) as a Woman-owned Small Business in 2015. Now, as EM Key Solutions’ Executive Vice President, Erin provides the day-to-day leadership of EMKS's business functions. Erin communicates and leads the internal implementation of the company's vision, tone, and strategic direction as established by our President and CEO. She is responsible for business planning and ensuring that all team members understand exactly how their role impacts the success of those plans. She works closely with the CEO to help shape the entire organization and infuse an overall sense of common vision across the company with a "One Team" approach to leadership.

Prior to founding EMKS, Erin held several leadership roles in the commercial sector, including her previous role as EMKS Chief Operating Officer. Previously she held the position of Deputy Project Manager for Enterprise Testing Service’s Risk Based Testing Analysis team, leading a team of over 50 functional and technical analysts. Prior to that she served as Task Manager for the VistA Evolution Risk Analysis team and was responsible for analyzing and reporting on findings around Business Requirements Documents, Requirements Specification Documents, Software Design Documents, and Requirements Traceability Matrices, and performing the Criticality and Risk Assessment (CARA) scoring for Department OI&T software project requirements to determine risk level and criticality of requirements. As a systems integration engineer/tester, Erin reviewed test artifacts from SUT development teams, assessed associated risk at the system level, monitored SQA testing activities, and, as appropriate, staged large scale systems for independent validation and verification (IV&V) within Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) and products/software that may interface with VistA, including performance of HL7 interface testing through the use of tools such as Iguana. She also served twice as a Corporate Training Lead and is an expert in the critical area of systems training. Throughout her career, Erin has been dedicated to critical business and information technology initiatives that have supported many important customers. A dedicated project management professional, she believes that by taking care of people first, including her clients, that success will follow with sound leadership.

Erin’s technical specialties include systems modeling for exploratory testing and test case design, systems analysis, equivalence class partitioning and boundary analysis and parametrization for test data creation, business process modeling and test design and execution. She is also skilled in SharePoint, HP Quality Center, ClearQuest, ClearCase, JavaScript, and SQL, among others. She is also a Certified ICAgile Professional, ISTQB Foundations Software Tester Certified, Information Technology Service Management (ITILv3) Foundation Certified, and Iguana Level 1 Certified. Erin is also a self-taught MUMPS programmer.

Erin holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of South Florida, and an Associate of Arts, Business (honors) from St. Petersburg College.
