Hemanth Kumar Guruswamy

Hemanth Kumar Guruswamy has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Hemanth Kumar began their career in 1995 at Asian Paints, where they held various positions as a Branch Manager in different locations, overseeing sales, credit management, inventory forecasting, and establishment administration. In 2002, they became a Director at Kanini Consultants. Hemanth Kumar later joined Bharti Airtel Limited in 2003, initially as the Vice President of Marketing for Airtel Business Services, handling revenue management, operations, pricing, profitability, and new product development. Hemanth Kumar then went on to work for Wipro BPO as the Head of Telecom and Tata Teleservices as the COO. In 2011, they joined Matrimony.com Limited as the Senior Vice President and Business Head, responsible for driving customer acquisition, revenue, operations, service delivery, and profitability in the retail business. Hemanth Kumar then moved to airtel in 2014, serving as the CEO of Homes - Broadband / FTTH and later as the CEO of Rajasthan. Most recently, they joined EM3 Agriservices Pvt. Ltd. in 2019 as the President. Currently, they are the CEO of Tamil Nadu at Jio since 2022.

Hemanth Kumar Guruswamy has a strong education background in the fields of Marketing, Finance, Strategy, and Electronics & Communication Engineering. Hemanth Kumar completed their PGDM/MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad between 1993 and 1995. Prior to that, they pursued their BE degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Anna University and the College of Engineering Guindy, Chennai, from 1987 to 1991.
