Tamer El Wakeel

Tamer El Wakeel has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Tamer began their career as a Trainee at ED&F MAN SUGAR LTD in 1997. Tamer then worked as a Lawyer at El Nouran in 1999 before becoming a Junior Lawyer at DELTA SUGAR COMPANY in 2000. Tamer then progressed to the role of SR. Corporate Lawyer at DELTA SUGAR COMPANY in 2003. After this, they joined DMG (DMG Group) as a Senior Legal Department from 2009 to 2011. Tamer returned to DMG (DMG Group) in 2013 and served as a Legal Manager, playing a key role in drafting and auditing real estate contracts. Tamer later moved on to Majid Al Futtaim Properties in 2018, where they worked as a Senior Legal Counsel. Currently, they are with Emaar Misr, initially holding the position of Senior Legal Manager from 2016 to 2018. Tamer was then promoted to Legal Manager and finally to their current role as a Legal Director in 2019.

Tamer El Wakeel completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from Cairo University, from 1995 to 1999.
