Muhammad Umair Zafar

Muhammad Umair Zafar has extensive experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as the Group Head of the Account Receivable Department at Emaar, The Economic City since June 2015. In this role, Muhammad has successfully implemented the SIMAH reporting structure for various products and oversees the maintenance and uploading of monthly SIMAH reports. Previously, Muhammad worked as a Finance Manager at Ali Zaid Al-Quraishi & Brothers Co LTD, leading a team responsible for accounting and trade financing activities. Early career roles include serving as a Financial Analyst and Chief Accountant at Isam Kabbani & Partners, and Assistant Manager Accounts at Azure Global Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd., where financial statement preparations and payroll management for UK clients were key responsibilities. Muhammad began a professional journey as a CA Articles Internee at A. F. Ferguson & Co., a member firm of PwC, where risk management and audit planning were central focuses. Muhammad holds a Chartered Accountancy finalist degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and a Bachelor of Commerce from Hailey College of Commerce.
