Bogdan Andrei Balaj

Bogdan Andrei Balaj has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Bogdan Andrei started their career in 2010 as a System Administrator / Dba at SMLSD for a short period. In 2012, they joined BWM Mediasoft Group as a Backend Developer, working with PHP. Bogdan Andrei then moved to New Haircut in 2013, where they served as a Backend Developer, specializing in NodeJS. At New Haircut, they gained experience in web development, cloud services integration, and code review. After a year, they joined straightAD as a Backend Developer, focusing on PHP development. In 2015, they returned to BWM Mediasoft Group as a Backend Developer, working with PHP once again until 2017.

In 2017, Bogdan joined EmailTree.ai as a Backend Developer, specializing in software engineering. Bogdan Andrei later took on the role of VP of Engineering before transitioning back to a Software Engineer position. During their time at EmailTree.ai, they were responsible for developing and maintaining backend systems.

Throughout their career, Bogdan has demonstrated proficiency in various technologies and frameworks such as Zend Framework 1, LAMP stack, NodeJS, and Git. Bogdan Andrei has also worked in agile environments and utilized tools like Jira for issue tracking.

Bogdan Andrei Balaj studied at Universitatea "Tibiscus" din Timișoara from 2006 to 2009. During this time, they pursued a degree in Information & Technology with a focus on Computer Science.
