Phuc Nguyen

Phuc Nguyen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investment consulting and mentorship within the startup ecosystem in Vietnam. Currently serving as Managing Partner at Emakase since April 2022, Phuc actively supports businesses in achieving their fundraising milestones. As a Mentor for the Vietnam Mentors Initiative since September 2016, Phuc has been recognized in the Vietnam Mentor Hall of Fame in 2018 for contributions to the startup community. Involvement with Amazon Web Services as an AWS Startup Scout allows Phuc to assist entrepreneurs in need of funding support. Previous roles include Senior Manager at VIISA, where Phuc managed investment activities and portfolios; Director of Acceleration Program at Startup Vietnam Foundation, with successful accelerator cohorts; and key positions in business development and commercial banking at notable financial institutions. Phuc holds a Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Finance from the University of London and an Associate’s Degree in Economics from The London School of Economics. Additional training in leadership and performance coaching complements Phuc's expertise.
