CEO, International Marketing Division at Emami

Vivek Dhir is the current CEO of Emami's International Marketing Division. Vivek has over 20 years of experience in the international marketing and sales field. Prior to joining Emami, they were with Dabur International Ltd as a Board Member and Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. In this role, they were responsible for leading the Sales & Distribution strategy along with Marketing & brand management for the business. Vivek also led a team of over 70 sales & marketing professionals across diverse geographies to deliver business plans including volumes, new product launches, market share gains, brand preferences and P&L growth.

Under their leadership, the company achieved on-target delivery for all marketing initiatives and aggressive, top-line & bottom-line financial objectives by managing product mix, cost mix, pricing, Adpro and marketing overheads for various geographies. Vivek also directed teams at international & regional level sales & marketing organization including regional managers, country managers, marketing managers & brand managers.

In addition, Vivek spearhead the vision & strategy for international business operations and its implementation. This includes etching a broader company footprint & establishing market foothold as well as leading cross functional teams for research and development of new products and emerging markets. Vivek also developed & implemented strategic marketing & sales plans, preparing company wide sales forecasts & objectives and meeting them.

Lastly, Vivek has experience in identifying Acquisition targets, Valuations, and Realization of post-acquisition synergies. Vivek has also directed international project teams to have thorough due-diligence, prioritization and timely execution.

Vivek Dhir has a global advanced management program from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in general management. Vivek also has a global advanced management program from Indian School of Business in general management. Vivek has an MDP from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in advanced data analysis, product policy & new product management. Vivek has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Faculty of Management Studies- Udaipur University in marketing & finance. Lastly, they have a Master’s Degree from Department of Chemistry, University of Jodhpur in M.Sc.(Chemistry).
