Babannan Iliya

Babannan Iliya is an experienced professional currently serving as an Assistant Manager at New Incentives since March 2022, following roles as Field Officer 2 and Field Officer. In addition, Babannan Iliya has contributed as a Campus Ambassador at Women At Risk International Foundation (WARIF) since August 2020, focusing on understanding, preventing, and responding to gender-based violence, and at Gender Mobile Initiative since July 2020, working to reduce sexual harassment and gender-based violence on campus. As a Safe Space Ambassador for HACEY Health Initiative since January 2020, Babannan Iliya has provided counseling and mentorship to young people, particularly girls and women, on sexual health, life skills, and leadership. Between June 2021 and October 2023, Babannan Iliya also held the position of State Coordinator at EMANI, managing organizational activities and data collection in Jigawa state. Babannan Iliya earned a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Bayero University Kano in 2022 and completed general studies at Government Secondary School B/Kudu in 2012.
