Paul Clewett has held a variety of roles in the public and private sectors since 2011. Paul began their career as a Care Support Worker at Priory Group in 2011, followed by a Traineeship in Terminology Coordination Unit at the European Parliament in 2012. In 2013, they were a Project Manager at The Swift Centre, and in 2014 they held roles as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant at University College London, a Migrating out of Poverty Research Assistant at the Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore, and a Junior Research Fellow at the Migration Policy Institute. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Senior Analyst at Seefar Enterprise, conducting behavioural insights research in the Horn of Africa, West Africa, Afghanistan and Europe. Paul then worked as an Independent Consultant for SP KNOWLEDGE LTD from 2019 to 2020, developing solutions for governments and international organisations. Since 2020, they have been an Entrepreneur at Antler and the Chief Executive Officer at Emani.
Paul Clewett completed a MSc in Global Migration from UCL in 2014. From 2009 to 2013, they completed a BA(Hons) in International Relations and Spanish & German from the University of Sussex. In 2011 and 2012, they completed an Erasmus in Politikwissenschaft, Sprache from the University of Konstanz. In 2006 to 2008, they completed A-Levels in English Literature, German, Physical Education, and Spanish (AS) from St Angela's & St Bonaventure's VI Form Centre. Additionally, they obtained a certification in 'Thinking the unthinkable' safeguarding children in youth work from Newham Safeguarding in May 2011.
