Chiessa Ong

Chiessa Ong, LPT, MAEd, currently serves as the Tutor Community Representative at Emapta Global, a position held since October 2020, where responsibilities include recruiting and activating tutors for Course Hero's operations in the Philippines. Prior to this role, Chiessa worked at Course Hero from August 2020 to July 2025 in multiple capacities, such as Community Representative for Tutor Success and Tutor Growth, focusing on hosting webinars, managing data reporting, and building relationships with university partners. Chiessa's earlier experience includes technical and administrative roles at New Era University, where skills in copyediting, liaising with departments, and supporting international partnerships were developed. Chiessa holds a Master's degree in Education (Social Sciences) and several relevant qualifications from New Era University.
