Derek Davidson

Derek Davidson has over 15 years of work experience in the insurance industry. Derek currently works as the Regional Vice President at eMaxx Assurance Group of Companies, Inc. since July 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Underwriter from November 2019 to July 2021 at the same company.

Before joining eMaxx Assurance Group of Companies, Inc., Derek held various roles at Energi Insurance Services, Inc. starting from August 2013. Derek worked as the Regional Distribution Manager for the LA, MS, AR & AL territories from August 2013 to July 2015. Derek then become the Regional Vice President for the Northwest region from July 2015 to February 2017, and later, for the Southeast region from February 2017 to November 2019.

Derek's early work experience includes working at Willis as an Associate Underwriter from July 2009 to August 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Commercial P&C Rating Specialist at Willis from August 2006 to July 2009.

Derek Davidson attended Daniel Webster College from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General. In June 2015, they also obtained additional certifications in Insurance Agent (Health, Property, Casualty) from the Florida Department of Financial Services.
