Brenda Bishop is the Director of Business Development at EMB Statistical Solutions. Brenda has over 25 years of experience in the field of SAS programming and data management.
Ms. Bishop began their career in 1991 as an Analyst at DST Systems. Brenda then moved to Marion Merrell Dow in October 1991, where they worked as a Senior Database Applications Analyst until December 1996. In January 1997, they joined Hoechst Marion Roussel as a Senior Analyst. Brenda was responsible for managing the retirement of three legacy Clinical Data Management systems, which involved project management as well as coordinating activities and leading SAS programmers. Over 900 studies were transferred from VM, and VAX operating systems to Unix for archival during their time at Hoechst Marion Roussel. Ms. Bishop also provided support and training to approximately 100 users of IReview, a data query tool, in Kansas City.
In January 1999, Ms. Bishop joined Quintiles as a Senior Applications Advisor. In this role, they were responsible for SAS programming for the generation of summary tables and listings to assist in preparing clinical study reports and drug submissions. Brenda also designed and implemented integrated databases that contain data from multiple clinical trials for a single drug project, and created generic, reusable programs to perform analysis of these databases. Ms. Bishop left Quintiles in December 2000 to join EMB Statistical Solutions as the Director of Business Development.
Brenda Bishop has a MBA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a B.S. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Brenda majored in business administration at both schools.
