Devon Wardlow has had a varied and successful career. In 2010, they began working as a North District Field Organizer for Congresswoman Lois Capps. Two years later, they held the role of White House Business Council Intern at The White House. In 2012, they worked as Director of Programming for Business Forward, and then as Special Assistant to the Secretary for Private Sector Engagement at the U.S. Department of Labor. In 2015, they became a Policy Programs Manager at Facebook, and then a Federal Government Affairs at Lyft in 2016. In 2019, they held the role of Director of Public Affairs at Coastal Holding Company, and in 2020, they became the Vice President of Public Affairs at Embarc. Finally, in 2022, they were appointed as Planning Commissioner for the City of Santa Barbara.
