Yelena Stepanyan

Yelena Stepanyan, CFA, MBA has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the finance industry. Yelena currently serves as the Head of Investments at Embark, where they are responsible for investment strategy, asset allocation, new product development, market analysis, and team development. Yelena has also held senior advisory roles at CFA Society Toronto, including Chair of the Institutional Asset Management Committee. Yelena is an Adjunct Professor at International Business University and a member of the User Advisory Committee at the Accounting Standards Board. Prior to their current positions, Yelena worked as a Senior Consultant at Capco, a Senior Analyst at RBC Global Asset Management, and participated in the Wealth Management Generalist Rotation Program at RBC. Yelena has also gained experience at Highstreet Asset Management, the International Monetary Fund, and the Eurasia Foundation. Overall, Yelena's work experience demonstrates their expertise in investment management, strategy development, and relationship building.

Yelena Stepanyan, CFA, MBA has a varied education history. Yelena obtained their CFA Charterholder certification from the CFA Institute in 2009. Prior to that, they pursued an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University between 2003 and 2005. Yelena's education journey began in 1989 when they enrolled at the State Engineering University of Armenia. Yelena studied Electronics Engineering and completed their degree in 1994.
