Evan Sheffield

Evan Sheffield has held a variety of roles in the software engineering and programming fields. In 2021, they began working at Embark Veterinary as a Senior Engineering Manager and Staff Software Engineer/Tech Lead. From 2012 to 2021, they worked at iVantage Health Analytics, starting as a Senior Manager of Engineering and then transitioning to Manager of Engineering, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. In 2011, they worked as a Platform Intern at Riot Games. In 2010, they were a Camp Instructor at iD Tech Camps. From 2009 to 2012, they worked at Vassar College as a Japanese Language Aide/Research Assistant and Computer Science Coach and Programmer.

Evan Sheffield obtained a B.A. in Computer Science and Japanese from Vassar College in 2012. In 2009, they attended Ochanomizu University, but did not receive a degree. In 2015, they earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern University. In January 2015, Evan also obtained the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 from The Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services. Finally, in June 2020, they earned a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance.
