Alina Vlad

Alina Vlad is a seasoned press and political officer at the Embassy of Israel since August 2015, responsible for monitoring Romanian media, promoting embassy events, disseminating press materials, and analyzing key policy issues related to Israel-Romanian relations. Prior to this role, Alina served as a topics editor at RINGIER Romania from October 2006 to August 2015, where responsibilities included creating and coordinating special newspaper pages and overseeing the world news department. Additionally, Alina held various positions at RINGIER Romania, such as deputy coordinator for The Sunday Edition and editor of the world news department, gaining extensive experience in international journalism and media coordination. Alina began a career as a world news reporter at a national daily newspaper from May 2002 to May 2004, generating news articles by meticulously researching global sources. Alina Vlad holds degrees from Universitatea Bucuresti and the University of Bucharest, with a focus on foreign languages, including Portuguese and French.
