Matt Oberdorfer has had a long and successful career in the tech industry. Matt began in 2002 as the CEO, CTO, Founder, and Member of the Board of Gear6, a distributed in-memory computing solutions provider that was acquired by Violin Memory in 2010. In 2003, they founded Engineered Intelligence, a venture-backed company that created a parallel computing virtual machine, and served as the CEO, CTO, Founder, and Chairman of the Board. From 2010 to 2015, they were the MD of Executive Ventures, an angel investment firm focused on solving real problems using deep machine learning, internet of things and actionable big data analytics. In 2016, they were the Co-Founder and Technology Advisor of Swarm Engineering and Vice President of Product at TE2, The Experience Engine, Inc., a company acquired by accesso in 2017. Matt also founded SiteOlytics Inc. in 2011, a company that was acquired by Diconium in 2017. From 2015 to 2018, they were CTO and Chief Architect at Frost Data Capital, a venture firm that incubates IoT analytics startups in joint ventures with major corporate partners. In 2018, they became the CEO and Founder of EOT, as well as an Advisory Board Member at Kinta Artificial Intelligence, a company that helps manufacturers increase their throughput, decrease downtime, and automate the production planning process.

Matt Oberdorfer obtained a Master's Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Parallel Computing, and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Stuttgart.
