Jose del Barrio

Jose del Barrio is the Founder and Managing Partner of Samaipata, a Pan-European early-stage fund focused on investing in digital businesses with network effects, currently managing €150 million. In addition to leading Samaipata, Jose serves on the boards of multiple companies, including Embat, Klarys, Legl, Retraced, Geomiq, and Matera, with notable seed investments in several of these firms. With experience as a mentor at Endeavor and their previous role as a board member for Deporvillage until its acquisition by ISRG, Jose has made significant contributions to the e-commerce and sports wellness sectors. Jose holds Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
