Eric Balsam

Eric Balsam, CISA, currently serves as the Associate Director of IT Audit at embecta since April 2022. Prior to this role, Eric worked for Ernst & Young from August 2007 to March 2022 as a Senior Manager, where responsibilities included assisting large global clients in developing governance models for Sarbanes-Oxley 404 IT risks and controls, as well as creating sustainable compliance frameworks. Eric gained early experience as a CAPP Intern at Citigroup, contributing to a redesign of a web survey application and developing automated reporting solutions. Eric's career began at Best Buy, where notable achievements included being recognized as the Most Valuable Player in the Computer Department and improving sales productivity while also coaching fellow sales specialists. Eric earned a Bachelor’s degree in Management Science and Information Systems and Cognitive Science from Rutgers University.
