Nicholas Lombardi

Nicholas Lombardi is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing integration and engineering roles. Currently serving as Sr. Manufacturing Integration Manager at embecta since April 2022, Lombardi previously held positions at BD from February 2019 to April 2022, where responsibilities included roles as Staff Manufacturing Engineer and Senior Manufacturing Engineer. At Medtronic from May 2015 to February 2019, Lombardi worked as a Manufacturing Engineer, leading projects for new equipment implementation. Early career experiences include a Manufacturing Engineering Intern role with significant contributions to engineering documentation and root cause analysis, as well as a Student Researcher position at the University of Connecticut, where expertise in biomedical engineering was developed. Lombardi holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Connecticut. Additional earlier roles include lifeguarding and umpiring.
