Steve Lindsey-Guerrero

Steve Lindsey-Guerrero serves as Deputy Fire Chief for the City of Palo Alto since January 2005, with a progressive career path that includes roles such as Interim Deputy Chief and Fire Marshal, Battalion Chief, Fire Captain, and Paramedic, among others. In addition to extensive fire service experience, Steve is a Technical Expert at Ember Flash Aerospace, focusing on climate and disaster support solutions, and has been a Consultant for Virtual Solutions since June 2016. Past leadership roles include serving as an Executive Board Officer for IAFF Local 1319 and Chairperson of the Board of Directors for the California Association of Professional Firefighters. Steve's educational background includes a BA in Political Science and Sociology from San Jose State University, and Steve has completed specialized training at Stanford University and the National Fire Academy.
