Eva Benito-Garagorri

Eva Benito-Garagorri is a highly experienced scientific professional with a focus on molecular biology and genomics. Currently serving as a Senior Scientific Officer and Lab Operations Manager at EMBL since September 2020, Eva oversees lab operations and automation in scientific research. Previously, Eva held roles as Laboratory Officer in Charge at Achucarro Basque Center for Neuroscience and as an Ikerbasque Research Fellow. Notably, during tenure as Scientific Coordinator for SourceData at EMBO, Eva managed collaborations and project development aimed at enhancing the discoverability of scientific publications. With a solid foundation in epigenetics from experience at DZNE and a PhD in Molecular Neuroscience, Eva has extensive skills in project management, training, and various molecular techniques.
