Edda H. Geirsdottir

Edda H. Geirsdottir is an experienced professional in corporate communications and branding, currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Communications at Embla Medical since March 2024. Previously, Edda held various leadership roles at Össur from March 1997 to March 2024, including VP of Corporate Communications & PR, VP of Branding & Communications, and Director of Global Marketing. Edda also contributed as a Member of the Board of Directors at Skjárinn from August 2013 to May 2015 and as Marketing Services Manager at Össur Europe from 2001 to 2004. Edda began a career in communications at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, serving as a Representative from 1993 to 1997. Edda's educational background includes studies at the University of Calgary from 1990 to 1993 and attending Henry Wise Wood High School.
