Robert Halverson

Mr. Halverson has served as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Company since early 2015. He recently served seven years as a Member of the Board of Directors of Medafor, Inc. a medical technology company based in Minneapolis, MN which, in October of 2013, was acquired by C. R. Bard (BCR – NYSE). Mr. Halverson retired from Northwest Airlines (NWA) in 1998 as a pilot with more than 32 years of service and at retirement was flying Captain on a Boeing 747 based in Anchorage Alaska. Although retired as owner/operator from active grain farming began in 1975, he and his wife continue to manage the family farmland in Western Minnesota. Mr. Halverson currently is involved as an early-round investor in two additional medical startups. He is an authorized volunteer mentor for the Alaska Department of Corrections and works closely as an advisor with Mission Aviation in Alaska. He has served in the United States Army and Ready Reserve as a Platoon Sergeant and later volunteered as a Northwest Airlines pilot attached to the CRAF (Civil Reserve Air Fleet) operation during the first Persian Gulf War in 1991, flying troops and equipment among the USA, Frankfurt, Germany, and King Fahd and Dhahran Airports in Saudi Arabia. Mr. Halverson also served on Minnesota, City of Minnetrista, Park and Planning Commissions, and as a member of the Anchorage Alaska Civil Air Patrol. He was elected in a statewide election and served three years as a Director of the Minnesota Corn Growers Association, was formerly a Secondary Mathematics teacher in Forest Lake MN and Bloomington MN public schools, and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from St Cloud State University with a major in Mathematics and a minor in physics and chemistry.
