David Rifkin

David Rifkin is currently serving as Developer Relations at Embrace since December 2023. Previously, David was an Adjunct Professor at The City University of New York, where a career-readiness course was designed and taught. Prior experience includes a role as Software Engineer for iOS at FanDuel, where code was written to facilitate gambling activities, and a comprehensive background as a Software Consultant and Developer, engaging in projects from workplace software to mobile app development. David also held the position of Lead Instructor at Pursuit, teaching coding skills, and contributed as a Mobile Developer and Product Manager at Forbes overseeing an internal mobile app. Early career experience includes working as a Paralegal on 9/11-related litigation at The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and contributing writing to Handlebar Magazine. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Maryland, as well as postbaccalaureate studies in Computer Science from Columbia University, complemented by training at Dev Bootcamp.
