Igor Galvao

Igor Galvao is currently the R&D Platform Manager at Nidec Global Appliance, where they lead the strategic and technical development of motor platform solutions for global HVAC-R applications. With a background in mechanical engineering, Igor has over 8 years of experience in R&D, product engineering, and cross-functional collaboration. They have previously worked with companies like Embraco, Electrolux, and Liebherr Group, where they contributed to optimizing thermal systems and developing innovative technologies. Igor holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina and is currently pursuing an Executive Program in Innovative Project Management at the University of Akron.
