Michael Amalfitano

President & CEO, Embraer Executive Jets at Embraer

Michael Amalfitano is the current President & CEO of Embraer Executive Jets. Prior to this, they spent over 20 years with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in various leadership positions, most notably as the Managing Director, Executive Head of Global Corporate Aircraft Finance. In this role, they were responsible for the origination of corporate aviation transactions, investments, and programs for Bank of America Merrill Lynch to corporations and high net worth clients throughout all domestic and international markets.

Amalfitano has extensive experience in the leasing and financial services industry, and they joined Banc of America Leasing (BAL, acquired Fleet Capital Leasing) in 1992. Michael served as region manager and area sales manager before taking on the division executive leadership position to build Corporate Aircraft Finance (CAF) as a vertically integrated strategic business for BofAML based in Dallas, TX.

Under Amalfitano’s leadership, the CAF division grew to become one of the largest and most successful businesses at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. When they retired from the company in 2015, the division had a portfolio of over 600 clients and serviced all turbine-powered aircraft manufacturers, vendors, dealers, brokers, management companies, maintenance firms and other related service providers.

Michael Amalfitano has a BA in Economics from Fairfield University and a Masters in Finance from the same school.

Michael Amalfitano reports to Francisco Gomes Neto, CEO. A direct report to Michael Amalfitano is and Dave Yablunosky - CFO, Embraer Executive Jets. They work with Antonio Carlos Garcia - EVP & CFO, John Slattery - President, Commercial Aviation Division, and Johann C. Bordais - President & CEO, Embraer Services & Support.
