Bruno Brasil

Bruno Brasil is an experienced professional in sustainable production and biotechnological research, currently serving as the Director of Sustainable Production and Irrigation at Ministro da Agricultura and Co-chair of the Agriculture Hub at the Climate & Clean Air Coalition. With a robust tenure at Embrapa since 2012, holding various key positions including Researcher and Strategy Superintendent, Bruno Brasil has also been influential as the President of the Deliberative Council at Ceres - Fundação de Seguridade Social since 2021 and has served on the Board of Advisors at FINEP. Academically, Bruno Brasil has held professorships in biotechnology programs at multiple universities and supervised numerous doctorate and master's students. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MS in Microbiology from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, an MBA in Project Management from FGV, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology.
