Dr. Niloy Biswas

Dr. Niloy Biswas has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Dr. Niloy is currently serving as the Associate Vice President & Head of HR & Administration at EMC Limited since April 2019. Prior to this, they worked as the Dean-Administration (DGM-HR) at EMC Academy Limited from September 2011 to March 2019. Dr. Niloy also held the position of Head of HR & Administration and Assistant Professor of HR & OB at Swami Vivekananda Institute of Management & Computer Science from August 2008 to September 2011. Before that, they worked as a Reader at the Department of Management, University of North Bengal from April 2006 to July 2008. Earlier in their career, Dr. Biswas worked as an Administrative Coordinator & Project Coordinator at ICEI (Techno India Group) from August 2002 to April 2006 and as a Branch Manager at DTDC Courier & Cargo Ltd. from March 2000 to August 2002.

Dr. Niloy Biswas holds an impressive education history. In 1989, they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from Goenka College of Commerce & Business Administration in Kolkata, affiliated with the University of Calcutta. Following their undergraduate studies, from 1997 to 1999, Dr. Biswas pursued a three-year Masters Level PG Diploma in Human Resource Management at IISWBM, Kolkata. This program, approved by the AICTE and considered equivalent to an MBA, equipped him with advanced knowledge in HR management.

In 2000, Dr. Biswas attended Cambridge University [Local Examinations Syndicate], where they obtained an Advance Cambridge Career Award (ACCA) in Management. This certification further expanded their expertise in the field.

Driven to continue their academic pursuits, Dr. Biswas pursued a Masters in Public Administration from Indira Gandhi National Open University between 2008 and 2011. This program enhanced their understanding of public administration, a valuable skillset in the management sector.

In 2016, Dr. Biswas began their most recent educational endeavor at JIS University, where they embarked on a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Management Studies. Dr. Niloy'sPhD research focused on Knowledge Management Interventions in the Indian Power Industry and was completed in 2022.

Additionally, Dr. Biswas holds an IELTS certification obtained from IDP Education Ltd in February 2015, further demonstrating their commitment to professional development and language proficiency.
