Sherry Awbrey, CMM, has extensive experience in sales and marketing within the meetings and events industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Sales at EMC Meetings & Events since February 2017. Following successful initiatives, including a new website launch and employee onboarding in 2019, Sherry oversees all sales and development activities, focusing on commission sales and direct meeting services. Prior roles include Vice President Sales and Marketing at EMC Meetings & Events, Vice President of Sales and Operations at EMCVenues LLC, and multiple sales leadership positions at EMCVenues and Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center. Sherry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Jacksonville State University.
