Jessica Cohen

Jessica is an Associate at Emergence Capital. Aside from a short stint as a vintage postcard seller at a park in Paris when she was 7, she has only ever been dedicated to supporting early-stage founders.

As a French national born to Moroccan Jewish parents, Jessica thrives in multicultural and diverse environments. Prior to joining Emergence, she helped entrepreneurs across the globe with legal and business advice on how to break into the US market during her time at VentureOut in New York. She also built the first startup competition in France focused on entrepreneurs in the marginalized suburbs of Paris. Jessica ultimately got her start in venture at Partech Partners, investing across the US, Europe and Israel.

Jessica is an avid learner. She received a Master in Management at ESCP Business School, a Master in Business Law from La Sorbonne, and a Master in Computer Science and Embedded Systems at Centrale Engineering School.
