After graduating from Louisiana State University in May 1993, Sallie came to work at EMCO Technologies as a temporary administrative employee in November 1993.
In her early days with EMCO, Sallie learned about IT inventory, Accounts Receivable and other administrative duties. In later years, Sallie would develop procedures for processing large contract billings for petrochemical customers such as ExxonMobil, and government contract customers such as Lockheed Martin and LEIDOS. She would also take on the role of the administrative Office Manager for EMCO. Sallie has worked on many different tasks at EMCO, from processing RMAs to vendors, to managing incoming and outgoing equipment for one of EMCO’s long time customers, and to learning the basics of SQL (Structured Query Language) for inhouse financial software. Sallie’s need to know the “big picture” of EMCO’s operational mechanics makes her an integral part of the company.
