Steven Fried

Steven Fried has a strong background in compliance and internal audit. Steven started their career as an Audit Senior at Arthur Andersen & Co., where they gained experience in external audits for various industries. Steven then joined MNC Financial as an Assistant Vice President, Audit Supervisor, where they handled internal audits for the bank and its subsidiaries. After that, Steven worked at Wise Components Inc. as a Controller/Treasurer, overseeing all accounting, finance, IT, and HR functions. Steven transitioned to Pitney Bowes as a Manager of Financial Policies & Controls, where they played a key role in implementing the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and establishing financial policies and procedures. Steven then joined UST Inc. as a Director of Financial Controls & Compliance and later moved to EMCOR Group, Inc., where they held multiple roles, including Director of Financial Compliance, Senior Director of Internal Audit & Compliance, and Vice President of Compliance. Overall, Steven has a strong background in financial compliance, internal audit, and organizational leadership.

Steven Fried attended Beacon High School from 1975 to 1979 where they completed their high school education. Steven then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business from 1979 to 1983. Later, from 1998 to 2000, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Connecticut.
