Abed Alnaif

Abed Alnaif is an experienced professional in the field of pharmacology and systems biology, currently serving as Associate Director of Translational Quantitative Pharmacology at EMD Serono, Inc., since September 2020, following a role as Principal Scientist from 2020 to 2022. Previously, Abed was a Senior Research Investigator at Bristol Myers Squibb from March 2017 to September 2020, specializing in quantitative systems pharmacology within immunology and immuno-oncology. Abed's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, earned in 2016, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo, obtained in 2009. Prior research experience also includes a position as a Graduate Student Researcher and Junior Research Specialist at UC Irvine from 2010 to 2017.
