Kristen Kaufmann

Kristen Kaufmann is a seasoned professional in the fields of neurology and immunology, currently serving as the Director of Professional Relations at EMD Serono, Inc. since October 2018. In this role, Kristen oversees the development and competency assurance of the Thought Leader Liaison team, while maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders in neurology. Kristen is also a member of the Dean’s Board of Advisors at Duquesne University, contributing to the education of ethical healthcare professionals. With extensive experience in academia, Kristen has taught graduate and undergraduate courses at Duquesne University and has held various positions in pharmaceutical sales, including serving as a Senior Neurology Area Business Manager at Acorda Therapeutics. Previous roles include medical device sales and occupational therapy, specializing in neuro cognitive assessment and rehabilitation. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from California University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Duquesne University.
