Lidia Gardner

Lidia Gardner is a seasoned professional in the medical affairs and scientific research fields, currently serving as the Global Medical Affairs Medical Director at EMD Serono, Inc. since February 2022. Previously, Lidia held multiple roles at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation from October 2015 to September 2022, including Associate Director of Medical Science Liaison and Clinical Research Medical Director for Gene Therapies. Lidia also has academic experience as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and served as a Research Scientist at the VA Medical Center for nearly a decade, contributing to clinical practice improvements and scientific presentations. With a strong educational background, Lidia holds a PhD in Mycology and Cell Biology, an Executive MBA, and a Master of Science in Biology, showcasing a diverse skill set in both scientific research and business management.
