Lisa Walsh

Lisa Walsh is the Regional Controller at EMD Serono.

In this role, she oversees and sets the strategic direction of the financial framework within the North American commercial organization. She collaborates with global leadership on key financial areas of the business, including Finance and Controlling, Tax, Accounting, Procurement and Information Services.

Lisa joined EMD Serono in 1983 and has held financial positions of increasing responsibility including accountant, analyst, project leader, controller, Director and US CFO. Over the last 35 years, she has been a stabilizing and inspirational leader who has been involved in many cross-functional projects, including the Serono/Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany post-merger integration, a $65 million research facility expansion, the company’s migration from an Oracle to an SAP platform, and implementation of an integrated platform for contract management and government pricing reporting.

Lisa holds her BS from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Suffolk University, and was previously honored with Boston Business Journal’s CFO of the Year Award and PharmaVOICE's "100 Most Inspiring People of 2012."
