Chris Perrotta

Chris Perrotta is a highly experienced energy professional with a strong background in power analysis, trading, and optimization. Currently serving as a Senior Power Analyst at Emera Energy since February 2023, Perrotta previously held the position of Energy Dispatch and Optimization Analyst at Nova Scotia Power and has extensive experience as an Energy Trader in both Nova Scotia Power and ENMAX. With a decade of experience in optimizing energy portfolios and developing market analysis tools, Perrotta has demonstrated expertise in managing significant generation and transmission portfolios across various markets, including NEISO and AESO. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship from Mount Royal University and studies towards a Chartered Investment Manager designation from the Canadian Securities Institute.
