Bijan Majumder

Bijan Majumder has over two decades of experience in payroll management and accounting. Currently serving as a Payroll Manager at Emera since March 2023 and Northwood since April 2022, Bijan previously held various payroll-related roles including Payroll Manager, Payroll Coordinator, and Payroll Administrator at GEM Health Care Group Limited from October 2008 to April 2022. Earlier career experiences include working as an Accounting & Payroll Administrator at Grant Thornton LLP and as an Inventory Control Supervisor at Compass Group. Bijan began professional pursuits as a Research Assistant at WorldFish and worked with the Government of Bangladesh. Bijan holds a Bachelor's and Master of Science Degree from Bangladesh Agricultural University and has completed studies with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) and Eastern College, focusing on Accounting and Payroll Administration.
