Declan Bird

Declan Bird has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Declan started their career at ABN AMRO as a Derivative Confirmations specialist from March 2002 to September 2003. Declan then worked at Goldman Sachs in the Derivatives Middle Office from 2003 to 2004. In 2004, they joined IKON Office Solutions as a Sales Consultant. From 2006 to 2010, Declan worked at High Finance Group as a Senior Consultant, focusing on recruiting risk professionals in the insurance industry. Declan then moved to David Aplin Group in 2010, where they worked as a Partner, providing specialized recruiting solutions across Canada until February 2022. Following this, they joined Bentley Lewis as an Executive Search | Partner, specializing in recruiting for senior executive positions across various sectors. Currently, Declan is the Talent Acquisition Lead at Emera, a North American energy company headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

From 1998 to 2002, Declan Bird attended the University of the West of England. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies with Combined Science.
