John Rushton

John Rushton possesses over 27 years of experience as a 2nd Class Power Engineer with Nova Scotia Power, demonstrating expertise in the operation and maintenance of a 640MW electrical generating facility. Responsibilities have included control panel operations, outside duties, and acting leadhand roles, along with involvement in the commissioning of upgraded equipment. Additionally, John has operated in dual capacity at NSPI since 1992, further reinforcing proficiency in all operational facets of a generation station. Educational credentials include an Engineer's Degree in Stationary Engineering from Nova Scotia Community College and a Grade 12 Academic Degree with a focus on Sociology from Springhill Jr/Sr High School.
