Scott Hastings CA, CBV has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Scott began their career at Grant Thornton as an Intermediate Staff Accountant from 2002 to 2004. Scott then joined Ernst & Young, where they worked for approximately 10 years, starting as a Senior Staff Accountant from 2004 to 2006. Scott later became a Vice President in Transaction Advisory Services, specializing in corporate finance and transaction advisory services, including valuation, financial modeling, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, insolvency, strategic advisory, and performance improvement.

In 2013, Hastings joined Emera as a Senior Director in Commercial Investments, where they worked until 2016. Scott then moved to the New Mexico Gas Company, where they held the position of Vice President of Finance from 2016 to 2019. Scott returned to Emera in 2019, first as a Senior Director in Capital Markets until 2021, and then as the Vice President of Finance from March 2021 onwards.
