Aroon Vijaykar is an experienced professional in strategic leadership and business development within the solar and investment sectors. Currently serving as SVP of Strategy & Commercial at Emerald AI since May 2025, Aroon previously held multiple senior roles at Sunrun from July 2019 to June 2025, including Senior Director for Snapnrack and General Manager for AEE Solar. Aroon's expertise encompasses corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, along with experience in project development for utility-scale solar projects at SunPower Corporation. Aroon's prior roles include senior consulting at FSG and Monitor Group, research analysis at the Institute for Defense Analyses, and product marketing at Cisco Systems. Aroon's educational background includes an MBA in Finance and Energy from The Wharton School and a Master's Degree in International Studies from The Lauder Institute.
