Pavan Shah has worked in various roles since 2016. In 2016, they were a Development Intern at Thomson Reuters for U.S. Tax & Accounting Firms, where they enhanced an XML schema validator, updated internal utility tools, and maintained and updated state-level income tax software. In 2017, they were a Development Intern at Epic, where they created a mobile web application for billing office managers, built the application's visually interactive and dynamic dashboard using ReactJS, and worked closely with UI/UX designers to create a meaningful user experience. In 2018, they were a Software Developer at Epic, where they developed features and fixes to an automated billing system, modernized a Payment Collection module from a Client/Server application into a MVVM C#/Typescript web application, and ensured the new web modules kept complete compatibility with integrated features when hosted in the legacy client/server application. Currently, since 2020, they are a Platform Engineer at Emerald Cloud Lab.
Pavan Shah graduated from the University of Michigan in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science. Prior to that, they graduated from Detroit Country Day School with a High School Diploma in 2014.
