Shuo Liu

Systems Diagnostics Scientist at Emerald Cloud Lab

Shuo Liu has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. In 2007, they were an Undergrad Research Assistant at the Univ. of Sci. & Tech. of China (USTC) for Prof. Shu-Hong Yu. From 2009 to 2013, they were a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Purdue University for Prof. Mahdi M. Abu-Omar. During this time, they led weekly discussion sessions, assisted in lecture materials preparation, and held office hours. Shuo also supervised and assisted 20-30 students with general chemistry laboratory techniques. In 2013, they were a Visiting Graduate Scholar at Osaka University for Prof. Shunichi Fukuzumi. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at Columbia University in the City of New York. Most recently, they have been a Systems Diagnostics Scientist at Emerald Therapeutics since 2017.

Shuo Liu has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Inorganic/Catalysis from Purdue University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2014. Shuo also has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China, which they obtained from 2005 to 2009. In addition, they have a Ph.D. degree from Purdue University.
