Randy Sears

Randy Sears is an accomplished professional in the field of water reclamation, currently serving as the Director of Water Reclamation at Emerald Coast Utilities Authority since November 2011. Randy's extensive experience includes roles ranging from Wastewater Operator Trainee to Assistant Director, overseeing the operational, budgeting, contract administration, regulatory reporting, training, and staffing of three wastewater treatment facilities. In addition to practical experience, Randy has an academic background in marine biology and public administration, holding a Master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University and a Master of Science in Administration from the University of West Florida. Prior positions include teaching at Florida Gateway College, serving in the US Air Force Reserve, and working in laboratory and aquarium management, reflecting a diverse skill set in water resources and environmental science.
