Joe Carman has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Joe began their career in 2000 as a Sales Associate at Sleep Country USA. Joe then worked as an Assistant Manager at Enterprise Rent a Car from 2002 to 2004. Joe Carman later joined Spring Air Mattress Corporation as a Regional Account Manager from 2005 to 2009. Joe then served as the Director of Operations at T3 Recovery Products from 2009 to 2012. In 2012, Joe Carman took on the role of President at Recovery Systems International and also became the Vice President of E-commerce at Emerald Home Furnishings. Currently, they serve as the Chair of the Board at NW Furniture Bank and is a Founding Member of The Digital Shelf Institute.

Joe Carman completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Claremont McKenna College from 1998 to 2002. Joe later pursued a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Washington between 2005 and 2007.
