Scott Stevens

Scott has over twenty years of global investment experience in finance, technology, consulting, and M&A. Prior to Grays Peak, Scott was a Portfolio Manager at some of the leading equity long/short hedge funds spanning a successful sixteen year career in public market investing.

He began his hedge fund career at Coatue Capital as one of the early investment professionals and then held key positions at Ivory Capital, Strata Capital, SAC Capital, and JAT Capital. During his tenure, Scott managed multibillion-dollar portfolios in the technology, media, and telecom sectors. Before joining the buy-side, Scott was an Analyst at Merrill Lynch & Co. in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group where he completed over $20 billion of transactions in various sectors including aerospace/defense, media, healthcare, and energy.

He also worked in Merrill’s Global Communications Group where he served as an Analyst for the Taurus Fund, a private equity fund specializing in early to mid-stage telecommunications investments. Scott graduated from the University of Michigan (BA Economics).
