Louis Girard

Louis Girard has extensive work experience in various IT project management roles. Louis began their career in 1987 at Chiquita, where they served as the Country IT Manager and Senior Corporate MIS consultant for over a decade.

From 1998 to 2003, Girard worked at COMSYS and Sherwin Williams as a consultant and project manager. During their time at BellSouth from 2000 to 2003, they served as a Program Manager, managing multiple projects for the Network Services Group.

Girard then joined Sherwin Williams again in 2003, this time as the IT Manager and later as the IT Director of the International Division. In these roles, they led a team of 66 IT professionals and provided IT guidance and support to international locations.

In 2010, Girard joined NCR Corporation as an LAC ITS, facilitating and coordinating ERP support from vendor managed to NCR's India team. Louis also deployed vendor patches and served as level-3 support as needed.

From 2011 to 2013, Girard worked at Bartech Group as an IT Project Manager, managing projects within a major ERP upgrade at Eaton Hydraulics. Louis replaced customization with standard functionality and upgraded batch jobs.

At Eaton Corporation, Girard served as an IT Project Manager from 2011 to 2016. Louis managed multiple projects, including re-engineering legacy MS Access tools, deploying price optimization SaaS tools, and designing and deploying tools to streamline processes.

Most recently, Girard became a Senior IT Project Manager at Progressive Insurance in 2016. Louis managed several projects aimed at improving application quality and addressing technical debt resulting from a software rewrite process. Louis'sprojects utilized Waterfall, Agile (Scrum & Kanban), and proprietary SDM methodologies.

Overall, Girard has a strong background in IT project management and has experience with various industries and technologies.

Louis Girard attended Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana from 1988 to 1991, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Management. Louis'sstudies focused on the fields of Computer and Management.
