Alvin Cardenas

Alvin Cardenas is the Corporate Safety Manager for Emerald Transformer. Alvin brings twelve years of experience, including workers compensation specialist, process safety management, food defense, 5S & 6S lean systems. Focusing on evaluating practices, procedures, training and risk assessment and adherence to the law. Alvin believes in order to have a safe workplace it starts with strong relationships, which are a result of his expertise in team building.

Prior to his time at Emerald Transformer, Alvin was a Journeyman Lineman for fifteen years, where his passion and experience in safety began. He then worked as a Safety Manager in the aluminum extruding business for five years. He spent another four years in food industry as a Safety Manager and Plant Manager.
